Description
In 2012, Palumbo completed the construction of 21 x 2 bedroom independent living units and associated civil works including roadways for Masonic Homes.
The works involved the demolition of an older section of the retirement village, installation of new infrastructure including fire hydrants and boosters, private meters for SA Power Networks and SA Water and new sewer connections. The civil works included controlled level one fill, retaining walls and creation of a new roadway.
All works were undertaken whilst the village was still occupied and effective communication was critical to ensure all stakeholders and tenants were well informed at all times.
